The Big Fat Indian Ghotala

The Big Fat Indian Ghotala was a weekly Hindi podcast that explored that world of Indian scams through interviews with victims, experts and journalists. Over the course of a year, we produced episodes dealing with rackets involving instant loans, illegal wildlife trade, gold smuggling and more. I worked as a researcher on the show and my responsibilities included finding episode ideas, sources and initial episode structuring.

The show was rebranded into a short-form series that dealt with sports scandals in 2022. More on that here.
